This last weekend, I got to go back to USC and to a football game, except this time, instead of being in the band on the field, I got a photo press pass.  It was pretty awesome, since it’s pretty much an all-access pass around the Coliseum before/during/after the game (but not in the locker rooms, not that I would want to).  Got some cool shots, see the whole game from a little different angle than I’m used to, AND we won.  Oh yeah, and the USC olympians were there being honored, which was also pretty sweet.  Just a very awesome Saturday.

a day of chores

To mix it up today, I did a bunch of random chores for my aunt.  It started out with a list of 14 things that I could possibly do, and I think I got through 9 or so of them.  I got through cleaning out under the kitchen sink, organizing and getting rid of unnecessary stuff.  The under-the-stairs pantry closet also got a major facelift and reorganization, which makes it much easier to find things.  All the plants got watered, the dishwasher run and unloaded, the trashcans taken out and in, the dry cleaning picked up, library books dropped off, checks deposited, and the car washed and filled with gas.  I’m all set to go out to LA tomorrow to see everyone, go to a birthday party, and get to see som USC football! Exciting weekend promises.

Currently bouncing between relatives, going from aunt 1 in northern CA to parents in GA to aunt 2 in southern CA, and possibly out to gma in FL.  fun times!  at least I have doggers to take pictures of here.

So yesterday, my Dashboard weather widget said that they were expecting thundershowers here in Corona, and it did, in fact, rain in the greater Los Angeles area, but not here.  Well, today it says that it is supposed to get up around 103 degrees.  What?
